WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

I am associate professor of Politics and Public Administration at the Roskilde School of Governance, Department of Political Science and Business. I co-direct the Centre for People Analytics in Government and am a member and co-founder of the Global Survey of Public Servants.

My research interests encompass a variety of topics centering on public employees: Human resource management, leadership and motivation, ethical and unethical behavior, bureaucracy and red tape, as well as whistleblowing and other ‘rebellious’ behavior in public service. In addition, I research citizen-state interactions, comparative public management, and digital public administration, notably open government and right to information.

I participate in multiple projects using surveys of public employees to shed light on these themes, often including comparative surveys across countries. Currently, for instance, I am involved in a field experiment of the effect of executive training and organizational analytics in Luxembourg.
